Everything really started on the 4th of july. It was a fun day. We started with some fun with the kids in the little backyard pool to start the day off. Greg barbecued up some food and we all hung out and had some fun. After that we headed out to the Hernandez half of the family for some Carneasada. It really was a fun day being with everyone. That night we went out to upland with Lizeths family to watch the fireworks. We found a nice patch of grass to watch the fireworks from and relaxed. It was not long after the fireworks started that Lizeth started feeling contractions. We watched the rest of the show and then went home. We started timing the contractions to see when if it was time to go in. About 2:30 in the morning we decided it was time. The baby was finally born at 8:08pm. It was a long and hard day but the outcome was really awesome.

We are so glad we got to see you guys and little Leilani--even if it was just for a minute. You guys look so happy and she is so beautiful!! I'm glad all went well. Love you guys.
I am so envious of her cute name..i absolutely love it! Hope you are adjusting to parenthood..i promise the sleep thing WILL get better, give it a few weeks! BUT, anything is better than swollen ankles right lizeth?! :) congrats guys..she is gorgeous..and i love her dark hair.
